Frequently Asked Questions

A Trail is a full course — a structured sequence of Modules that takes you from the basics to real-world skills in a topic, such as manual QA testing or business analysis.

A Module is a themed chapter inside a Trail. Each Module groups related Lessons and Practices together, such as "Writing Test Cases" or "Requirements Analysis".

A Lesson is a short piece of reading inside a Module that explains a concept. Lessons often end with a quiz to check your understanding.

A Practice is a hands-on, interactive challenge — like reporting a bug you find, writing a test case, or working through a real scenario — where you apply what you learned instead of just reading about it.

XP (experience points) tracks your overall progress as you complete Lessons and Practices. Badges are awarded for specific achievements, and your streak counts the consecutive days you've kept learning.

No. BugEater is built for QA testers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers at any level — including complete beginners — as well as anyone who wants to sharpen their skills.

A quiz is a short set of questions at the end of a Lesson that checks what you just learned. Answer each question and submit to see your score — you can retake a quiz any time to improve it, and completing it counts toward that Lesson's progress and XP.

The Leaderboard ranks learners by XP earned from completed Lessons and Practices. You can filter it by time period (all time, this month, this week) and by profession, and it also shows badges, streaks, and completed Trails for each learner. Find it from the main navigation.
